Here is our third episode with Dr. Joanne from School of Population and Global Health at McGill University hosted by Jad (second year dental student) & Maya (second year medical student). Dr. Liu is a pediatric emergency medicine physician. She has been involved with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) since 1996 and was listed amongst Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in 2015. We discussed her career path including her mandate as international president of MSF and the place the organization has during the COVID-19 pandemic.
