As of February 19, 2025, the base at Main Lodge is boasting a whopping 100-inch base, with the summit reaching an impressive 179 inches. The snow study site at 9,000 feet is sitting at 103 inches, and McCoy Station at 9,800 feet has an estimated 140 inches.Recent snowfall has been plentiful, with 75 inches in February alone, bringing the total seasonal snowfall to 186 inches. The mountain is offering prime mid-winter conditions, with groomers laying down silky corduroy for smooth morning turns. Off-piste, expect light, dry powder in the upper bowls and soft landings in the tree runs.Current weather conditions are partly cloudy with warmer morning temperatures. At the summit, it's 23°F, with winds from the SSE at 24 mph, gusting to 30 mph. Down at the Main Lodge, it's 34°F, with winds at the top of Chair 1 out of the NE at 41 to 53 MPH.Looking ahead to the next 5 days, a ridge will slowly build over the West, peaking around Sunday/Monday, bringing sunny skies and a gradual warming trend. Highs at the 8,000-foot level will reach the upper 40s by Sunday, but the snowpack should remain in winter form.Piste conditions are fantastic, with the Faces of 3 and 5 having a deep base and all lines wide open. Off of Chair 5, Triangle, Waterfall, and the Bear are all fun, and skiing down Christmas Bowl into Coyote back to chair 5 is a must-try. West Bowl is all filled in and ready for someone to build a nice bump line.Special notices for visitors include watching for icy spots on Highway 203 up to Main Lodge and staying hydrated due to the high elevation.
