In episode 19 of “Let's Recover Together”, we are joined by Richard, part of the Living Room family. Richard spent his childhood in the idyllic Welsh seaside town of Porthcawl, and remembers a childhood in the sea, getting nipped by crabs, and of a lot of rain!! Richard began to suffer with poor mental wellbeing at an early age, and by his teens he was anorexic, and using alcohol to mask his true feelings. Listen as he takes us on a journey through addiction, several recoveries, to the present day, where he has refound his love of art, and has found a job working in a museum.
