We're getting toward the midway point of series 2, and for this episode we were delighted to welcome Michaelis to the show. As a self-confessed "mixed-race kid with an afro", Michaelis felt like he didn't really fit in with his peers as a teenager, and he turned to alcohol initially, before discovering weed and then stronger drugs later in his teens. After being arrested for possession with intent, Michaelis found himself facing a lengthy prison term of at least 25 years, but his higher power had a card to play, and Michaelis ended up on a programme to keep him out of a long-term jail sentence, and off the alcohol and drugs.
