At school she felt unpopular, something many of us will identify with. Helen first had suicidal thoughts when she was just 8 years old, and started drinking soon afterwards. Despite her drinking, Helen managed to be part of a competition dressage team in her teens, and got a degree at university. Her drinking ramped-up in her 20s, and in her 30s she suffered a major stroke. It was the wake-up call she needed, and today works as a life coach and is about to have her first book published.
