Episode Synopsis "More than 'just a game': How video games foster friendship during the pandemic"
In November 2020, RadioActive Youth Media hosted our first-ever VIRTUAL community workshop for middle and high school youth in Seattle's New Holly and Rainier Vista neighborhoods. Twelve young people gathered in small groups over Zoom to write, record, and edit their own short radio stories. This workshop was a partnership between RadioActive, the Seattle Housing Authority, and the Delridge Neighborhood Development Association. You can hear more youth-produced radio stories at kuow.org/radioactive.
