That is why it is so essential to commit to fall in love with yourself. We have been discussing the importance of using affirmations throughout the day to change the adverse beliefs and feelings you may have. If you suffer from low self-esteem, turning this around comes down to lying to yourself. This is not a form of lying in the way you may think. This is not about being inauthentic or untrue to who you are. It is about reprograming what I call the Voice of debasement and doubt. This is the Voice in your head that goes on and on throughout the day. You know the one that says you are not smart enough; you are a loser, can't, can't, and can't because of whatever. These negative comments will destroy your confidence and self-esteem, and self love over time.Here is what happens your subconscious begins to believe what you tell it. Tell it you are stupid, it eventually believes you. Tell it you are a genius? Over time it will accept that. You can program your subconscious mind. When your subconscious believes you are worthless, it will cause you to take actions that reflect your beliefs. These beliefs, thoughts, and feelings will create your world. Be careful because negative thinking becomes a hazardous habit. It sets one up to be manipulated by those who know you suffer from not appreciating yourself. When negative beliefs submerge your subconscious with negative beliefs, you are being cheated out of the abundance and joy in life. Isn't it time to turn this around once and for all? Of course, it is. Affirmations repeated daily may feel a little silly, but science says they work.Look, if you are feeling insecure and suffer from a lack of self- appreciation FAke it until you make it by acting and by controlling your thinking. Affirm what you want in your head over and over. Soon you will not be acting at all.
