Episode Synopsis "Such A Meaningful Volunteer Trip - Dien Phong"

But with the trip to Dien Phong- an impoverished town in a mountainous region of Quang Nam province, it left me with many memorable memories: images of lonely people, innocent children, houses with temporary roofs...all of that will make everyone feel unhappy, definitely want to come back here to be able to help more...and I'm no exception. The trip started at 5 am, it took us more than 1 hour to cross the bumpy road to get there. The first image that appeared before our eyes was a small village between two cliffs. The morning dew drops are still on the leaves, the rays of the sun begin to gradually shine behind those cliffs. A new day begins for the people in Dien Phong. We got out of the bus. Start packing up to prepare all the work that will be done that day. We are divided into 3 groups. A group will be responsible for gathering and preparing food for everyone. Another group will go to the house of the lonely elderly to repaint the house and the other group will go to the primary school to organize games and propagate school knowledge to the students there. I were very lucky to be in the 3rd group, because teachers and students have given me a lot of inspiration. The students enthusiastically participated in the games that my group prepared. That gave me a lot of motivation and I really want to come back here again. Although I were not directly involved in the work of other groups, I could feel the fatigue of other group members through pictures and videos which they took. That totally made me so proud. And one thing that cannot be ignored is the campfire night. The whole area of Dien Phong was engulfed in the light of the torches, our cheers, the dances from the students. Such a wonderful scene, all created like a picture painted by a professional artist. After a long tiring day, everyone seemed to forget that fatigue to immerse themselves in the space to enjoy, to live with their true self. It was so wonderful, just telling through these short lines will never be able to express our feelings that night. Whatever comes will come, a new day begins. This time we were no longer in a hurry, as eager as when we went. We started packing and double checked everything before leaving. The people of Dien Phong also did not forget to send us compliments. So the meaningful volunteer trip ended. The trip really taught me a lot of lessons, showed me that even though life is always difficult, they are always optimistic and love of life. Hopefully one day I can come back here to help people as well as discover more new lands to gain more knowledge and life experience for myself. Thank you all guys for reading my post.
