I have an incredible client with a heart of gold for teenagers….

and Leadership

Last week she led a group of teens through her signature process…. at first they resisted and were uncomfortable but by the second day they were transformed, glowing from the inside out from the work she led them through…

She felt pumped about her results….

I asked her how the sales enrollment to her 1:1 leadership coaching for teens went and she said…..

“Not Well”….

I asked WHY?

She said, she let them know that she offers 1:1 but no one took her up on it because she didn’t want to push it ……

To me this is a tragedy…

I sat with her, got real and dug deep to support her in understanding the consequences of her letting her FEARS of being to salse-y get in her way of serving…

I know if I would have had someone like her in my life as a teenager how much faster I would have become successful..

In fact, I remember when I was in 7th grade a mom that taught a leadership class saw something in me and wanted me to attend a camp…

I remember feeling seen for the first time in my LIFE from an adult (because I had been the BAD kid my whole life) and finally someone saw something in me

But

My mom said no to me attending the workshop. I regret that.

SO yesterday, I took a stand for my clients clients …

Because this world is F’d for our teens

Those kids will walk out of her room and in 2 days the hope will wear off and they will be back

- Sedating
- Looking for outside validation
- Giving their power away
- Scrolling
- Comparing
- Teen suicide on the rise
- Isolation
- Cyber bullying
- Sex trafficking
- Being drugged at a party and raped
- Drugs
- Addiction
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Financial Failure
- Divorce
- Slaves to school debt
- Jobs being replaced by technology

And the LIST goes on and on and on.....

I think my client got the painful consequences & what is at stake if she let’s her fears get in the way of her clients successes.

TAKE A STAND for YOUR PEOPLE!!!

Take a stand for yourself!!

Give a Hoot about people in a fallen world.

It’s not all rainbows and butterfly’s and sparkly memes out there friends.

The work we do as coaches, speakers and leaders is LIFE changing…

OWN IT!

Fight for it!
