Jana Thrift's Podcast

Water is Life is a radio show produced by Jana Thrift in Eugene Oregon. It is a place for conversations about the different ways we love an hour our sacred water and the work that is being done to protect it. In this show our first conversation began with my beautiful friend Elana and we talked about her life as a child with her mother Moonwater and her love for water that began very young. In the second part of the show we have Community Rights Lane County organizer and member of Freedom From Aerial Herbicides Alliance Michelle Holman. She shares how aerial herbicide spraying effects our watersheds, the health of our planet and all its creatures. Especially exciting though, is her info about the ban on aerial spraying that Lincoln County, Oregon just passed and the work that has hopefully made it so Lane County, Oregon will be having the opportunity to vote for a ban on aerial spraying also.
