I couldn't think of a better way to launch my first episode, other than having my mentor, the teacher who inspired me to become a French teacher myself : Renata Koegler. We discuss setting up the environment in a French language class, the importance of taking risks with language learning, and she shares some of her personal philosophies when it came to teaching in her classroom. She gives good advice for new teachers but also for us who are looking for ways to keep French alive in our classrooms today.
