Being one of the few spots on campus named after a woman, she must be pretty important! About Professor Jones Dr. Christopher Jones is a historian of early America and the Atlantic World. Currently an Assistant Professor of History at Brigham Young University, where he teaches a variety of courses, including U.S. History to 1877, Revolutionary America, Slavery and the Slave Trade in Africa and the Atlantic World, African American Family History, English Language Paleography, and Missions and Missionaries in American History.
