Hello World Doggone You- Oscar "Buddy" WoodsThis episode of the podcast features Natchitoches blues guitarist; Oscar "Buddy" Woods.Born near Natchitoches in 1903, he moved to Shreveport where he started work as a street musician. He teamed upwith Ed Schaffer as the Shreveport Home Wreckers and recorded in 1930. In 1932 the group backed Jimmie Davis on recordings for Victor. Woods then recorded in 1936 thru 1938 for Decca Records. He recorded again in 1940 for the Library Of Congress.
