Hey guys and welcome to Growing Up Desi, the podcast where we talk the good, the bad and the desi. I’m Bhav and I’ll be your host for the show. Each week I'll be talking to a fellow desi to find out what life was like for them growing up to see if it was anything like mine. We'll talk about the family and community pressures, the impact their upbringing has had on their life as adults and I'll try to find out if their grandma was as disappointed as mine was when she realised I wasn't going to become a doctor. Is this just therapy for me? Probably. But it's not like us desi's are allowed real therapy anyway! ___ I actual live stream these episodes every Thursday at 8pm (BST) and you can watch them on my Facebook, Twitter or YouTube channel.
