In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, we found out how the annual Lilizela Tourism Awards encourage tourism businesses to do well. Starting at provincial level with events throughout the country this month of September, this prestigious spectacle culminates in national awards on 17 November 2018 at the Sandton Convention Centre, north of Johannesburg. We feature SA Tourism CEO Sisa Ntshona and Kylie Henn who runs the Traditional African Homestays in Limpopo – provincial winner under category Roots and Culture. Ntshona also talks about the “ Learn SA” Middle East Roadshow from 17 – 27 November to Iran, UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
