Fish Out of Water explores the challenges and experiences of being an immigrant in the United States, and specifically highlights the "Fish Out of Water" moment that many immigrants have early on in their time in the US. The podcast features a new guest each episode who shares their story of being a first generation immigrant. The stories told by the guests may be funny, sad, uplifting, or scary, but they’re all aimed at one thing: describing the immigrant experience in the US from as many perspectives as possible. The hope for this podcast is that both immigrants and non-immigrants can listen to it and take something positive away from it, whether it being learning something new or being able to relate to the story being told.
