In Revelation 21:1–7, John beholds the glorious vision of a renewed creation where the former heaven and earth have passed away, and God makes all things new. The New Jerusalem descends from heaven, radiant as a bride adorned for her husband, symbolizing the perfect union between God and His redeemed people. In this new world, there will be no more sorrow, pain, death, or tears, for the old order of suffering is gone forever. God Himself will dwell among His people, and His presence will be their eternal comfort and joy. He declares, "It is done," affirming the fulfillment of His promises and the completion of His redemptive work. Those who overcome will inherit this everlasting kingdom, and God will be their God, and they will be His children—forever enjoying the wonders of His perfect creation and unending fellowship with Him.
