Long time member Bill Pratt (aka draglist) started his career in the US navy, where a regimen of frequent, high intensity exercise kept him in peak physical condition. Later in life, a work environment with low levels of activity and a lack of information around nutrition led to increasing weight and common associated health issues such as type 2 diabetes.
With the help of FatSecret, Bill learned about different diets, and how to keep himself on track by setting a calorie goal and never going over it. Over time, he shed the weight and got his health back.
