Faisal Al-Halabi

Faisal Al-Halabi (also spelled Faisal Bin Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Muhammad Al Halabi) is a Quran reciter from Al Ahsae city, Saudi Arabia, born in 1971. He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration. Digital Qur’anic archives feature numerous recordings of his recitations, including a complete recitation of the Holy Quran and various individual surahs. His recitation style is generally described as clear and impactful, contributing to a spiritually engaging experience. Sheikh Faisal Al-Halabi comes from a conservative family. He specialized in Shari’a studies, graduating with excellence from the Shari’a branch in the faculty of Shari’a and Islamic studies at Al Ahsae University, and completing further studies at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad Bin Saud in Riyadh. He obtained both his Master’s degree in 1999 and his Doctorate degree in Osoul Al Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence), learning under the supervision of prominent sheikhs. He was appointed as a teacher of Osoul Al Fiqh in the Shari’a faculty of Al Ahsae city and has been involved with several university committees. Beyond his academic and teaching roles, Sheikh Al-Halabi has held many positions, including serving as an Imam and preacher, an advisor, and the vice-president in a family development center. He has participated in numerous lectures and seminars, contributed to educational media through writings in Islamic magazines, and published two books: “Al Foutour, causes, manifestations and treatment” and “Al Maarouf gardens”.
