On this week's episode, Dina chats to Lyndi Cohen, who became a mum at the end of 2020 and started to experience feelings of burnout as she discovered how the hierarchy of needs shift when you become a mum. Dietitian and best-selling author Lyndi Cohen (known as The Nude Nutritionist) would rather count happy memories, than almonds or calories. After a decade of yo-yo dieting and hating her body, Lyndi finally realised that life’s way too short to obsess over carbohydrates and punish yourself with exercise. Lyndi quit dieting in favour of a much kinder, more balanced approach to food, which allowed her to recover from binge eating disorder. Today, Lyndi offers serviceable expert advice without the wellness wankery (thank goodness). She is the resident nutritionist on Channel 9’s TODAY show and helps people be healthy without dieting via her Back to Basics app as well as her online program, Keep it Real which helps people stop binge eating for good.
