One of the most difficult moments for everyone was in 2021, due to the fact that we had to face a pandemic, which led to everything being in quarantine. It was a very complicated year for me, as it affected our whole family in many ways, forcing us to reinvent a different lifestyle during that time, something we never imagined we would have to go through. At first, it was quite a challenge, as we couldn't go out, everything was closed, and many people were dying around the world, which caused anxiety and a lot of fear because we are all human beings and had the same chances of going through it. However, it was only a matter of time and taking the necessary safety measures to be able to move forward.
Uno de los momentos más difíciles para todo el mundo fue en el año 2021 por el mismo hecho de tener que enfrentar una pandemia y eso llevó a que todo estuviera en cuarentena, siendo un año para mi bastante complicado, ya que nos afectó en muchas cosas a toda la familia, la cual nos tocó reinventarnos un estilo de vida distinto durante todo ese tiempo, algo que jamás nos imaginamos que tenías que pasar. Al principio fue todo un reto, ya que no se podía salir, todo estaba cerrado, muchas personas falleciendo en el mundo, algo que generó ansiedad y mucho miedo porque todo somos seres humanos y tenías las mismas posibilidades de poder pasar por eso, sin embargo, solo era cuestión de tiempo y tomar las respectivas medidas de seguridad y poder salir adelante.
Several months later, when everything began to return to normal, a significant change was felt due to the fact that the pandemic had given rise to many new things, such as online jobs, delivery services, and online shopping apps, all of which made use of technology. In addition, we were able to leave the house a little more and do other activities outside of the norm. I remember that we had the opportunity to go out to eat at a restaurant during that time, and the first thing you noticed was that everyone inside was wearing a mask. The only time they took it off was to eat, and then they put it back on. It was something automatic, simply because it was a way to take care of ourselves. something that made an impression on us, and that's why face masks became an accessory when going out and getting dressed that year.
Varios meses después, cuando todo ya comenzó a normalizarse, se sintió un gran cambio por el mismo hecho de que con la pandemia surgieron muchas cosas nuevas, como trabajos por internet, los delivery, las aplicaciones de compra online, dando uso a la tecnología. Además ya se podía salir un poco más de casa y así poder hacer otras actividades fuera de lo normal, la cual recuerdo que tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a comer en un restaurante en esa época y lo primero que uno veía es que todos dentro de ese lugar con sus tapabocas y el único momento donde se lo quitaba era para comer y luego se lo ponía, era algo como automático por el mismo de hecho de poder cuidarse, algo que nos marcó y por eso el tapaboca se convirtió en un accesorio al momento de salir y vestirse en ese año.
Some time later, more vaccines arrived that were supposedly better, and that was a moment of great despair, because where I lived, there were long lines of people waiting to get vaccinated, so we had to wait several days before we could go and get our vaccines. Something else that was unique during the pandemic was that they gave us a little piece of paper telling us that our vaccine was ready, so we could keep track of it. That's why I say it was such a memorable moment, because more than four years have passed and it's something that will remain in many people's minds because it marked a turning point in their lives. So I ask you: do you have any memories from that time that you will never forget?
Tiempo después comenzaron a llegar más vacunas que supuestamente era las mejores y eso fue un momento de mucha desesperación, ya que por aquí donde yo vivía se hacían colas y colas de muchas personas para ponerse la vacuna, por eso nos toco esperar varios días y de esa manera ir a colocarnos las respectivas vacuna. Algo que también fue un momento único que se vivió en la época de pandemia, por el mismo hecho de que nos entregaron un pequeño papel y allí nos indicaba que ya teníamos listo la vacuna, como para llevar el control y por eso les comento que fue un gran recuerdo ya que han transcurrido más de cuatro años y es algo que permanecerá en la mente de muchas personas por el mismo hecho de macar un antes y un después en la vida. Así que te pregunto: ¿tú tienes algún recuerdo de esa época que nunca olvidarás?
