The labour movement in Newfoundland and Labrador launched a campaign this year for presumptive mental health legislation in the province. The campaign has pitted unions and mental health advocates against business lobby groups like the NL Employers' Council. NAPE - the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees - is one of the unions spearheading the campaign. In this episode, we talk to NAPE President Jerry Earle about the campaign, and about the broader issue of mental health in the workplace.
