The Federal Government has announced $27 million in new funding to support drought-impacted communities in regional and rural Australia, through extending drought resilience projects. We’ll head to the United States where much of the U.S. Department of Agriculture remains shutdown and farmers are left without critical market reports, disrupting the entire supply chain. The Bureau predicts some much needed rainfall in the Western District this week, but so far there's been less than farmers have hoped for, which seems to be the theme of the season. The latest in our series of profile interviews on Country Today. 28 year old, Nicci Teitge followed her dream to work with horses and cattle in Queensland and the territory, but tragedy drove her back home to family in Victoria.
