A Change Impact Assessment is a collaborative process led by members of the OCM team and department representatives to identify how individuals, teams, and groups will be impacted by an organizational change. The assessment serves as a foundation for many other parts of the change management process (e.g. training, communication, action plans) and provides the opportunity for impacted teams to have a voice in the change planning process. It's best practice to invite a diverse demographic of impacted employees to participate.
