Siempre buscando realizar lo mejor con los recursos disponibles. En esta ocasión quiero mostrar un recorrido en la ciudad de Cumaná – Venezuela, desde la Urb. Bebedero, hasta la Urb. Gran Mariscal, para un recorrido de 23,3 Km ida y vuelta. Howdy, Cycling. Creating content is one of the things I've been learning along this journey through Hive. Always looking to do the best with the available resources. This time I want to show a route in the city of Cumaná - Venezuela, from the Urb. Bebedero, to the Urb. Gran Mariscal, for a route of 23.3 km round trip. Desde que inicié el proyecto, mi meta es poder llegar a algunos lugares de mi país en ella, espero poder lograr esa meta. En mayo del 2024, comencé a comprar los componentes y armar mi bici y ahora ya haciendo algunos recorridos por la ciudad, que, a pesar del fuerte sol y el calor, la ruta es amigable, sin tantas subidas, un recorrido mayormente en plano y con unas vistas espectaculares como lo es la Av. Perimetral que nos regala las vistas hacia el Golfo de cariaco con el mar caribe. In May 2024, I started to buy the components and assemble my bike and now I am already doing some tours around the city, which, despite the strong sun and heat, the route is friendly, without many climbs, a mostly flat route and with spectacular views as is the Perimetral Avenue that gives us the views of the Gulf of Cariaco with the Caribbean Sea. El recorrido inició a las 9:00 am hora de Venezuela y concluyó unos 40 min después, tomando en cuenta que iba documentando en video todo el trayecto mostrando las calles y avenidas por dónde íbamos pasando, entre ellas la Avenida Arismendi, la avenida Santa rosa y la Avenida Carúpano, muy conocidas de la ciudad de Cumaná. Como dato curioso, la Avenida perimetral nos regala la oportunidad de pedalear junto al mar por varios Kilómetros. Poco a poco vamos adquiriendo equipos necesarios para nuestras rutas, en mi caso me falta el casco, guantes y medidor de Kilometraje, esencial para siempre saber bien la distancia recorrida. Mi bici, tiene una horquilla fija, espero tal vez colocarle una de suspensión, pero realmente me gusta muchísimo como se desplaza en carretera sin la suspensión. Tal vez para terrenos más agresivos, en futuras rutas off road, agregue una buena horquilla de suspensión a mi bici para disminuir impactos por el terreno. Little by little we are acquiring the necessary equipment for our routes, in my case I am missing the helmet, gloves and mileage meter, essential to always know the distance traveled. My bike has a fixed fork, I hope maybe to put a suspension fork on it, but I really like the way it rides on the road without the suspension. Maybe for more aggressive terrain, on future off road rides, I will add a good suspension fork to my bike to lessen impacts from the terrain.
