Psalm 130:3-4 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. Looking back on my early ministry days, I smile at my own fervent enthusiasm, knowing that those who listened to me then deserve a special place in heaven. In those times, I focused heavily on doctrine and human effort. But as we grow, we begin to see that life is truly about mercy like an x-ray machine revealing what lies beneath. We recognize our own flaws and remember David’s words: If you marked iniquity, who could stand? Thankfully, God offers us mercy. His Kingdom is one of grace, where failures find victory, captives are set free, and broken hearts are healed to reach out to others. Thank God for the mercy He has shown you and me. Embrace His grace today, and let it inspire you to extend that same mercy to those around you. Become a source of healing and hope in the lives of others who so desperately need it. It’s time to pray.
