In episode #2, we will explore the origins, implementation, milestones, and impact of the "Strong in Every Way" initiative of Zionsville Community Schools through a conversation with two of its champions: Christine Squier and Kris Devereaux The SIEW initiative aims to build student capacities for life readiness beyond the classroom. Strong in Every Way is an ongoing initiative of the Zionsville Community Schools begun in the fall of 2016 with the goal of building connected, resilient, self and culturally adept young people during their formative years in their school community. Strong in Every Way (SIEW) is a decision-making and directional vehicle for the organization that is made up of three domains: Developing Connections, Developing Assets and Resources, and Developing Cultural Understandings.
