22 years ago, I was an eight year old boy finding his place in this world. Without reason, I began keeping a journal. What was initially an infrequent hobby with long, elaborate narratives, became a daily activity with just a few sentences to summarize each day. Now at the age of 30, I find myself in a unique position to tell my life story, through the words of my preteen, teenager and young adult self. All names have been changed for anonymity, but this is my raw, authentic story. And with any luck, there's much more where this came from.
