Wei Wuxian frees all the juniors from the cave, but when they leave they are confronted by a mob of angry cultivators. They corner Wei Wuxian and demand justice for his evil deeds. Flashing back to the past, all the cultivators have gathered together for a Siege Hunt competition. When Jin Zixuan shows off his archery skills, Wei Wuxian one-ups him by doing his archery blindfolded. He even enters the competition blindfolded, until a stranger takes advantage and steals his first kiss. While looking for the stranger, Wei Wuxian runs into Lan Wangji punching trees. Suddenly Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan appear, and he spies on them making awkward conversation. Wei Wuxian remembers how terribly Jin Zixuan treated his sister and jumps in to intervene.
