Xie Lian, Hua Cheng, Pei Ming, Banyue, Pei Su, and Ling Wen are saved from being crushed by two mountains when Yin Yu appears from the ground with the Earth Master Shovel. Hua Cheng reveals that Black Water abandoned the shovel in the ghost realm, so he has no idea what happened to Shi QingXuan. Using the shovel, the group dig themselves into the stomach of one of the 3 mountain spirits surrounding Mount Tonglu. Unfortunately, the walls of the caves are sentient, and the group gets separated, with Xie Lian and Hua Cheng together. Hua Cheng offers a red string to tie around Xie Lian’s finger so that they don’t lose each other.
