We find out that Feng Xin is the real father of the fetus spirit, and that he and Lan Chang were lovers 800 years ago. Lan Chang and Cuo Cuo run away, and Fu Yao pursues them while Feng Xin reports back to heaven. Jun Wu descends to meet with Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, saying that the situation in Moung Tonglu has gone worse, and that he personally needs to infiltrate as a spy to stop a ghost king from being born. Xie Lien volunteers to go instead, and so he and Hua Cheng pretend to be a puppet demon in order to sneak into the ghost gathering.
