Episode Synopsis "Junior City Planners- Using Cardboard Camera (a mobile learning app)"
On this podcast, high school economics teacher Austin Toner describes how to use the mobile app, Cardboard Camera, for students to practice surveying, city planning research and brainstorming in order to construct a hypothetical commuter grid layout for the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Students will document major transportation hubs to take note of major points of construction, traffic congestion, pedestrian foot traffic, bridges and waterways for possible solutions to gridlock.
