Episode Synopsis "At the table with Gail - Tales of sticky cookies and a browned-off prune cake"
Tales of sticky cookies and a browned-off prune cake. Moral of these stories? - always use the correct type and quantity of ingredients! This week’s temptations are Pea, Asparagus and Mint Soup, Pesto Salmon and Asparagus Lasagne, Lamb and Yoghourt Pie all rounded off with Candy Cookies. Music? Well, with so much asparagus around, what else but The Asparagus Song by Johnny and the Jamstands. Great lyrics - “Oh Mum if you really care for us, spare us from asparagus”. Presented by Gail Hall with co-hosts Peter or Catherine, Gail presents a wide range of recipes from the decadently delicious through to gorgeously healthy eating. She LOVES, and is a little obsessed with, collecting recipes.
