Listen "Climate Change in Patagonia, by Keegan Pietrak"

Episode Synopsis

The podcast analyzes how  species diversity is impacted in Patagonia due to climate change and  increasing global emissions.  In general, if the global temperatures  continue to increase, many species are greatly at risk, and although  conservation methods such as creating protected lands can greatly  increase the chances of survival for certain species, it can only do so  much as long as the core issues regarding climate change are not  properly addressed.  Most of my information was found on the Vanderbilt  library database except for my audio (which is from "audio archive"),  and other information relating to ice-ages and glacial periods (which  was found on one other website that is run by Nasa).  I wrote lines for  both of my parents to include so that my podcast wouldn't be flat with  only one voice and I used a variety of different audio clips (all from  the audio archive website provided. also, each audio is in the public  domain) to enhance the atmosphere created by the podcast.  I learned a  lot about Patagonia, specifically how climate change impacts  biodiversity in the region.
