In 2016, enthusiastic 19 year old Walid came across news of the AdamStart challenge merely 48hrs to its closing date, he quickly went ahead to send his application and weeks later, Walid was announced in the Moroccan Times as the 2016 winner of the AdamStart Challenge.



Since then, Walid has maximised his win to grow his venture Pomm'it - a startup turning waste apples into consumer products, and employing young women in the process.
