Abbeydale Writers meet on Tuesday nights at the Dore and Totley United Reformed Church in Sheffield (S17 3QS). The group has existed for thirty years now and is a serious, though very supportive, writing group. It is our aim to help writers to improve and grow. New members shouldn’t be daunted though, we are a group with a very wide mix of abilities and everyone is welcome. If you are just starting out with your writing, come to us for inspiration; if you’re an old hand, come for new ideas; if you just want a couple of hours listening and talking to people about all things writing, then feel free to come along.
