Episode Synopsis "Maddi Leblanc: Insignificance of Rejection, Starting a Successful Fundraiser, Confidence in Your 20s"
She’s the 21-year-old founder of a fundraiser—a 10K standup paddle board ride—that’s raised over $15,000 for cancer research (Canadian Cancer Society), in honour of two lost friends. So I had to [verbally] poke around her her head. Here’s what I learned: + How Maddi grew the lady-balls to put her idea out there + Maddi’s thoughts on rejection, confidence, and co-op hunting (they’re golden) + Her extra bits of Maddi’s tips on getting sponsors/partners to jump on your idea (edited out of the blog for length) + What used to stress her out (and me too) + An honest look at how this blog and On Board have helped me and Maddi get opportunities out of life (personal and professional) that we wouldn’t otherwise have gotten, even though we aren’t nearly world-class status What are you waiting for? Pop those earbuds in :) Cheers, Dana Iskoldski Founder, The X Class A Success Blog www.thexclass.com IG: @thexclass
