Wachaga haska wicijana indigo.  Naomi indizhinikaaz.  Gaa-miskwaawaakokaag indaa.  Gaa-zagaskwaajimekaag indoonjibaa.  Ashi-bezhig indaso-biboonagiz.Wachaga loves the season of sugarbush.  It comes just as the snow begins to melt and the sap begins to run.  She attends sugarbush each season as part of her school learning, and participates in tapping trees, collecting and moving sap, and boiling the sap into syrup.  She shares in her podcasts many of the words and phrases she has learned related to this cultural practice and hopes that listening to it will inspire others to begin learning the complex and meaningful language of her culture.
