As a 27-year veteran of General Mills and currently leading North American Manufacturing & Engineering there, Andy Kortkamp is passionate about improving the work-life of front line workers, particularly during this recent period of disruption. He is vocal and purposeful in his thoughts on Connected ‘Servant’ Leadership. He and Richard will delve into what ‘Servant Leadership is’, what it means to him, its benefits and challenges and also how a connected worker can support this methodology. They also discuss General Mills’ manufacturing model, where robotics and AV have a part to play and how the pandemic shaped an incredible discovery whilst breaking factory stereotypes.Andy currently leads North American Manufacturing and Engineering for General Mills.
