Principal Baruti Kafele is the founder of AP Leadership Academy, and a highly-regarded urban educator in New Jersey for over 20 years. He has distinguished himself as a master teacher and transformational school leader.
Principal Kafele was selected as the East Orange School District and Essex County Public Schools “Teacher of the Year”, and “New Jersey Teacher of the Year” finalist. As a high school principal, his schools have been recognized from the U.S. News and World Report Magazine as America’s Best High Schools 3 times.
He is the Author of 14 books, including his recent release “What is My Value Instructionally to the Teachers I Supervise?”.
He joined Dr. Peterson for this week's Tuesday teach-in segment to discuss more about his AP Leadership Academy program.
