As the film gets closer to curtain call, the clocks are always ticking down. We are taken through the many stages of NBC Studios using a variety of single-shot tracking. Despite being remarkably similar to the real thing, they did not film this scene on NBC, as was disclosed in a Q&A following the film. Reitman's work, ranging from Juno to Men, Women, and Children, is known for its impressive attention to detail, which captures intimate moments of characterization and detailed exchanges between some of the biggest celebrities. A cast of characters, including LaBelle's Lorne, feels as essential to Saturday Night as they do to any specific season of the program overall. Cory Michael of Gotham might be MVP.
