I discuss the various ways religion has played a role in the Black Lives Matter movement, specifically in Lower Merion, PA. In order to do this, I invite Debra Hobbs, a Lower Merion High School teacher, to talk about her experiences in the community and with religion. I also interview Reverend Sean Lanigan of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Ardmore, to get his take on the matter and discuss the vandalization of their BLM sign.
