Send us a textIn this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss civil government, that God is its Originator and men are obligated to submit to it.  We note that whoever resists it will face consequences, if not in this life, certainly in the final judgment.  We discuss the passages that show us that God intends government to  be a friend and a rewarder of law abiding and righteous people.We start out by looking at the God ordained role of civil government, to protect, reward and encourage the righteous and to punish evil doers. We note that it is God who ultimately decides who rules , when and for hw long.  We talk about government authority and take some time on the subject of capital punishment. Finally, we look and some examples of evil in civil government and the fact that it is now a new thing.  Take about 30 minutes to follow our discussion. Have your Bible handy in order to follow along and verify that we are in fact discussing what the Bible says.
