Episode Synopsis
On episode 46 of the #MentalDivePodcast I am pumped to be joined by Jamieson Rees (4:21). Jamieson is one of the top prospects in the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) system, being drafted 44th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Since then, Jamieson has been amongst the most productive players in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and was awarded for his progression through signing a professional deal with the Hurricanes this past January. The Hamilton, Ontario native is now set to compete in the American Hockey League (AHL), as he awaits for the OHL to potentially resume this season.
During the interview, myself and Jamieson discuss how he's grown through the adversity of being injured in his draft year, why he believes mental toughness is important, and so much more!
