Welcome to our sixth instalment of Trail Tales, bringing you running motivation and inspiration. This week we're joined by Jodie Gauld, a trail runner who doesn’t like to do things by halves. In 2019 she set off with two friends to do something that had never been done before; run from the border of Afghanistan to the border of China through Tajikistan’s Bartang Valley.
When not taking on crazy challenges, Jodie gets her kicks from running long distances on the trails. She’s placed on the podium at numerous events including the Exmoor 50k and Maverick Ultra Peak District.
