Send us a textIn this study, the Lord reveals to Abraham the judgment that will soon be rained down upon Sodom and the four surrounding cities. Abraham's responds by immediately interceding for these people. As he prays, we see the heart of God. Abraham is able to pray with the heart of God because he has drawn close to God.In this, we also learn an important biblical principle. God will not judge the righteous with the wicked. This is an encouraging message for us in our present day. God's judgement is soon to be poured out, but that judgement will not come upon the righteous.Finally, we once again see Lot who is no immersed in Sodom. Lot is far gone in his backsliding. As we look at the life of Lot, we can see the steps a backslider takes.
