Ben Johnson is an experienced fault finder specialising in BMW vehicles. He is from the UK but now based in Finland with coming up to 30 years experience in the Automotive Industry. This has seen him work for a number of different manufactures and in different regions of the world.
Ben has recently launched the 'All Mech Newsletter' where he publishes some of his work to the community he is building around fault finding. He is active on LinkedIn posting engaging content from his day to day work.
In this episode we speak to Ben about his experiences over his career to date and along with his approach to fault finding and how he resolves complex faults where others have tried and failed.
We ask Ben about the importance of checking for faults on vehicles involved in Vehicle Systems Forensics Examinations and some of the reliability of BMW infotainment and telematics systems.
