Annie Hughes, 24, is the recent winner (plus new course record) of the High Lonesome 100, a challenging ultrarun in Colorado. Since spring of 2021 Hughes, a professional runner for HOKA, has won: Jemez Mountain 50, Indian Creek 50, Behind the Rocks 50, Collegiate Peaks 50, Mace’s Hideout 100, Leadville Trail 100, Moab 240, Coldwater Rumble 100, and Cocodona 250. Caleb Efta is Race Director for the High Lonesome 100 and the Sawatch Ascent 50k. Peter Bianco is a finance professional, father (two little kids and two big puppies), and a husband who lives in Kansas City and pursues ultrarunning and ski mountaineering.
