He first joined about ten years ago in Sydney and recently rejoined in the Blue Mountains. Guy hasn't delivered his first speech yet but is excited about the opportunity. He also listens to "The Mindset Mentor" podcast by Rob Dial to improve his mindset and communication skills.He values the feedback and incremental learning process in Toastmasters, recently using a checkbox system for speech evaluations to focus on specific aspects. This approach helps him in both personal and professional settings, enhancing his listening and observational skills.Guy's goal is to build confidence in speaking to groups, essential for his business. Despite initial discomfort, he views it as a natural part of growth. He encourages others to join Toastmasters to discover and develop their latent strengths.
