In this Series we are gonna be discussing on What Fatherhood is and if it is even necessary for a family and a society to have a father figure, how to be one, act like one and the expectations of a father by both family and society. We also are gonna look at all the current problems we are facing as individuals that includes self esteem, Habits and Discipline and at public sector level like robbery, corruption and rape among others if they are possibly caused by fatherlessness. Most importantly we will answer the question; if the world would have been better if we had fathers in place of just male figures who got married and had children.

Fatherhood is not a new concept, in fact it is as old as us humans ourselves and has been part of us throughout our journey, but has somehow slipped right through our fingers out of our grip. Right now there are more males than there are fathers while the world is in need of fathers, a society that does not have clear patterns of who does what and why is l most likely to collapse sooner rather than later. In this world we live in the mother’s role seem very much pronounced and clear as to what she does and what she is expected of by either the children, husband or community. In fact the mothers’ attributes have been proclaim all over even on tv commercials and YouTube Ads. Every time someone wants to bring up a picture of love and warmth your woman’s face probably with a little child running towards her or in her arms. When wanting to picture the softness of cloth after using a fabric softener you hear them say as soft as the mother’s love. I mean all these are specifically given an image to everyone of what mothers are like, through a full image of Motherhood would require a deep look on the roles expectations and effects of a mother.
